This privacy policy explains how Wormpath (“the Game”), developed by an independent developer (Marco Haubrich), handles information related to advertising and analytics.
Summary
- App name: Wormpath
- Publisher contact: marco@mrhaubrich.dev
- Platforms: Android
- Ads: AdMob (Google)
- Analytics (planned): Firebase Analytics
- Children: Not directed to children under 13
What data we collect
- We do not collect personal data directly in the Game (no account system, no sign-ups, no user-generated content stored by the developer).
- The Game may display ads using Google AdMob. AdMob and Google may collect and process certain information from users’ devices necessary to serve ads and provide analytics (for example, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, device identifiers, cookies, and similar technologies) according to their own policies.
- If you enable analytics (Firebase), Firebase may also collect device and usage information. These SDKs are operated by third parties; see their privacy pages linked below.
Use of data and advertising
- Ads shown in the Game may be personalized or non-personalized depending on configuration and user consent. Personalized ads use signals about a user’s device and behavior to show more relevant ads.
- The Game developer does not directly use collected advertising or analytics data for purposes other than improving the app and supporting ad delivery via the ad/analytics providers.
Consent and European users
- If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the Game will request legally valid consent where required (for cookies/local storage and for personalized advertising). Consent records will be retained by the consent mechanism or SDK in use.
- To revoke or change consent, use the in-app privacy/ads settings (if available) or clear the app data. You may also manage ad personalization via your device settings or Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com/
Third-party disclosures
- The Game uses the following third-party services that may collect personal data:
- Google AdMob (publisher ID: pub-2870102985866117) — ads and advertising identifiers. See https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads and https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Firebase (analytics) — if enabled in the future. See https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Children’s privacy
- The Game is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact the publisher at marco@mrhaubrich.dev.
In-app purchases and no-ad option
- The Game may offer a paid no‑ad version in the future. Purchases are handled via the platform (Google Play) and are subject to the platform’s policies.
Data retention and security
- The developer does not retain personal data collected by third-party providers beyond what those providers retain according to their policies. The developer does not knowingly collect or store users’ personal data directly.
Changes to this policy
- This policy may be updated. The last updated date appears at the top of this page.
